I went to Salon 221 about 6 weeks back for the first time, and was assigned to Victoria after describing over the phone what I was looking for. I wanted to color my brown ("virgin" hair) that I had grown out for two years with a very subtle natural-looking "bronde" balayage type look. I was concerned about past breakage, and wanted to brighten it up, but still with a lot of brown untouched. I have to say, Victoria totally nailed it. The color was subtle but the perfect pop of brightness. It was better than I imagined. I would absolutely recommend Victoria for highlights or a balayage/ombre-type color that looks really pretty and natural. I wanted to make sure she got the credit she deserved.

She takes the time to really listen to what you want and gives her professional opinion, which I truly appreciate. I get highlights about three times a year, and the way she blends everything makes the grow-out look absolutely beautiful. I hate when highlights don’t blend well or require constant salon visits, and Victoria’s work is perfect for exactly that. And she is FAST! I’ve had other stylists take 6–8 hours to do what Victoria does in about 2 hours, and the quality is still incredible. She somehow manages to be efficient while still paying attention to every detail. She recommended a root melt for me (which I’ve never done before), and I was honestly nervous at first because I was worried it would make my hair look too dark or dated. But it turned out SO beautiful! It didn’t look old or dark at all, it gave my highlights the perfect blend and made everything look so natural and seamless. She’s truly the best, and I won’t go to anyone else. If you’re looking for beautiful, natural-looking highlights that grow out well without having to live at the salon, I HIGHLY recommend Victoria!

My son is going to be losing his hair due to a stem cell transplant and wanted to do something fun that represents the color of his cancer ribbon! Which turned out to be bright, lime, neon green, not only did she bleach and dye his hair neon green, but she made cheetah prints for him in his hair! She stayed three hours past clothes just to do this for him and had a great time while doing it having a lot of fun and laughing! She has made him so extremely happy and such a great experience during all of his treatments that he’s been getting compliments and he’s wanting to get out more just simply because he has this new fun hair! I drive all the way from South Beach, Miami because that’s how much I trust Jess and how comfortable she makes me feel. I get so many compliments on my hair, and people are always asking who does it! She truly takes her time to create the perfect tone, and somehow makes every shade of blonde in my highlights pop beautifully.
